A Traditional Konkani Kheer (Chana Dal pudding) that puts in together thick creamy, sweet, and Nutty flavors. This Indian Pudding is occasionally made during Indian festivals. It can be served hot or cold.<\/h2>\n

Ingredients<\/h3>\n

2<\/span> tbsp<\/span> Ghee<\/span><\/div>\n
15<\/span> <\/span> Cashews <\/span><\/div>\n
15<\/span> <\/span> Raisins<\/span><\/div>\n
1<\/span> cup<\/span> Split Chickpeas <\/span><\/div>\n
2<\/span> cups<\/span> Water <\/span><\/div>\n
1.50<\/span> cups<\/span> Coconut Milk <\/span><\/div>\n
1<\/span> cup<\/span> Grated Jaggery <\/span><\/div>\n
½<\/span> tsp<\/span> Cardamom Powder <\/span><\/div>\n
2<\/span> tbsp<\/span> Rice Powder <\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Directions<\/h3>\n

Roasting of Nuts<\/div>\n
\n
\n

In a pan, Drizzle 2 tbsp of Ghee.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Add a handful quantity of Raisins and Roast till it plumps up.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\n
\n

Then add a handful quantity of Cashews a,d roast till golden.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Roasting of Chana Dal<\/div>\n
\n
\n

On medium flame,roast the Chana Dal for 4-5mins.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Making of Kheer<\/div>\n
\n
\n

Wash the roast dal and pressure cook it in 2 cups of water.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Once the dal is cooked, add in the Coconut Milk and cook for about 3-4 mins<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Now add the Rice Powder and cook for about 3-4 mins.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Add Jaggery and allow it to cook for 5 mins on medium flame.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Add the Roasted nuts and Cardamom powder and give it a final mix.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
