Chilli Pomfret is an original recipe. Pomfret is marinated in a spicy flavourful masala and cooked along with Onions and Curry leaves. This recipe is very unique and finger-licking good.<\/h2>\n

7<\/span> <\/span> Pomfret,slices<\/span><\/div>\n
1<\/span> <\/span> Sliced Onion, Big<\/span><\/div>\n
12<\/span> <\/span> Garlic <\/span><\/div>\n
1<\/span> <\/span> inch Ginger<\/span><\/div>\n
1<\/span> <\/span> Chopped Green Chilli <\/span><\/div>\n
½<\/span> tsp<\/span> Ajwain Powder \/ Carom Seeds Powder <\/span><\/div>\n
3<\/span> tsp<\/span> Chilli Powder <\/span><\/div>\n
¼<\/span> tsp<\/span> Turmeric Powder <\/span><\/div>\n
1<\/span> <\/span> Lime,small<\/span><\/div>\n
½<\/span> cup<\/span> Oil<\/span><\/div>\n
12<\/span> <\/span> Curry Leaves <\/span><\/div>\n
Salt (As per requirement)<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Marinating the Fish<\/div>\n

Crush Garlic, Ginger, and Chopped chilies to a fine paste.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

In a mixing bowl, add in the Carom seeds powder, Chilli powder, Turmeric powder, salt, Lime juice.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Mix the spices along with the Garlic, Ginger, and chili paste.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Dip and gradually apply the marinate masala onto the cut Pomphret pieces.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Marinate the fish for at least 20 – 30mins<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Making of Chilli Pomfret<\/div>\n

In a saute pan, add in the sliced onions and saute them for 2 – 3 mins.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Add on some curry leaves, and saute them all together till onions turn golden brown.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Now start placing the Marinated Fish on top of the sauteed onions and allow it to cook under sim for 10 mins on one side.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

After 10 mins, flip the pieces and allow them9 to cook for another 20 mins under sim. Cook this on Medium flame.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
