Moong dal pakoda is a crunchy, delicious bite-sized fritter made of moong dal or skinned green gram. The small pakoda\u2019s are crisp and addictive. Serve the hot moong pakoda\u2019s with a dip of your choice. Usually, Moong Daal Pakoda\u2019s are served with Mint and sweet chutneys.<\/h2>\n

Ingredients<\/h3>\n

1<\/span> cup<\/span> Moong Dal (soaked for 4 hours)<\/span><\/div>\n
2<\/span> <\/span> Kashmiri Red Chillies<\/span><\/div>\n
2<\/span> <\/span> Chopped Green Chilies<\/span><\/div>\n
3<\/span> <\/span> Chopped Garlic Cloves<\/span><\/div>\n
1<\/span> <\/span> inch Chopped Ginger<\/span><\/div>\n
1<\/span> <\/span> Chopped Onion,medium<\/span><\/div>\n
3<\/span> tbsp<\/span> Chopped Coriander Leaves<\/span><\/div>\n
¼<\/span> tsp<\/span> Asafoetida<\/span><\/div>\n
½<\/span> tsp<\/span> Black Pepper Powder<\/span><\/div>\n
Salt (As per requirement)<\/span><\/div>\n
Oil for deep frying<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Wash and Soak Moong Dal for 4 hours.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Grind the Moong Dal with Kashmiri Red Chilli into a coarse paste.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Add in green chilies, Garlic, Ginger, Onion, Coriander leaves, Hing, Black pepper powder, and salt.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Heat some oil for deep frying the pakoda’s.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Drop small portions of the pakoda mix into the oil and deep fry the pakoda’s on medium flame until golden brown.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Moong Dal Pakoda’s are now ready.
