Vietnamese Lemongrass Chicken, or ‘Ga Nuong Xa,’ is a popular dish marinated in lemongrass, garlic, fish sauce, sugar, and spices.<\/h2>\n

1<\/span> <\/span> Lemongrass Stalk<\/span><\/div>\n
2<\/span> <\/span> Garlic Cloves<\/span><\/div>\n
3<\/span> <\/span> Kaffir Lime Leaves<\/span><\/div>\n
1<\/span> tbsp<\/span> Sugar<\/span><\/div>\n
½<\/span> tsp<\/span> Salt<\/span><\/div>\n
¼<\/span> tsp<\/span> Turmeric Powder<\/span><\/div>\n
½<\/span> tsp<\/span> Paprika<\/span><\/div>\n
1<\/span> tsp<\/span> Corn Starch<\/span><\/div>\n
1<\/span> tbsp<\/span> Fish Sauce <\/span><\/div>\n
3<\/span> <\/span> Chicken Thigh Fillets<\/span><\/div>\n
½<\/span> tsp<\/span> Black Pepper Powder<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Prepare the Marinade<\/div>\n

Grind the spring onions, lemongrass stalk, garlic cloves, kaffir lime leaves, sugar, salt, paprika, turmeric powder, corn starch, fish sauce, and freshly ground black pepper powder into a coarse paste.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Marinate the Chicken<\/div>\n

Add small pieces of chicken thigh fillets to the marinade and coat them well.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Allow the chicken to marinate for 8 hours or overnight for the best flavour.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Cook the Chicken<\/div>\n

Thread the marinated chicken onto metal or wooden skewers. Cook them in a preheated oven at 180\u00b0C (356\u00b0F) for 10-15 minutes.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
