Korean fried chicken or Yangnyeom chicken is also known as seasoned double deep fried chicken that is coated with spicy and sweet sticky sauce. It’s super delicious, crunchy and addictive. The seasoning sauce is made from the popular and fermented Korean Chilli paste \u201cgochujang”, Garlic, Ketchup, Honey\/Sugar\/Rice syrup and Vinegar. <\/h2>\n

10<\/span> <\/span> Chicken Wingettes<\/span><\/div>\n
⅓<\/span> cup<\/span> Corn Starch<\/span><\/div>\n
¼<\/span> cup<\/span> All purpose flour<\/span><\/div>\n
½<\/span> tsp<\/span> Black Pepper Powder<\/span><\/div>\n
½<\/span> tsp<\/span> Salt<\/span><\/div>\n
2<\/span> <\/span> Eggs<\/span><\/div>\n
½<\/span> tsp<\/span> Baking Soda<\/span><\/div>\n
Seasoning Sauce<\/div>\n
3<\/span> tbsp<\/span> Oil<\/span><\/div>\n
⅓<\/span> cup<\/span> Ketchup<\/span><\/div>\n
¼<\/span> cup<\/span> Gochujaung<\/span><\/div>\n
3<\/span> <\/span> Garlic,Chopped<\/span><\/div>\n
2<\/span> tbsp<\/span> Honey<\/span><\/div>\n
2<\/span> tsp<\/span> Vinegar<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

In a mixing bowl, Add the chicken wingettes, Salt, Black pepper powder, Corn Starch, All purpose flour, Baking soda and Eggs.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Mix them all till the chicken is coated evenly with the batter.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

In a frying pan, Pour the battered chicken one by one and deep fry them for 20 mins on medium flame.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

After 20 mins, remove the fried chicken and set them aside for 1-2mins and then Double deep fry the chicken for 12mins.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

In a pan, Drizzle 3 tbsp Oil. Once the oil is hot, Add chopped Garlic and saut\u00e9 for a minute.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

To this we then add Ketchup, Honey, Vinegar, and Gochujang. Mix them all well and let it cook for a minute.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Lastly Add the double deep fried chicken to the seasoned sauce and give it a good toss. Garnish with Toasted Sesame seeds and green onions.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
