Marinate the fish steaks with salt and Turmeric powder and set aside for 20 mins.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
In a blender, Combine grated coconut, Garlic, Ginger, Coriander seeds, Cumin seeds, Black peppercorns, Tamarind pulp, Turmeric powder, soaked Kashmiri red chilies to a smooth paste.
\nAdd water as required for making the curry paste.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
In a pan, add some oil and chopped onions. Saute it till it turns golden brown.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
To this add the green chillies and curry paste. Combine everything well and cook the curry paste for 2 to 3 mins.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
Clear the blender jar with excess curry paste with 3 cups of water and add it to the curry paste. Mix them all well and bring them to a boil.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
Add salt and Kokum skin to the curry and cook for 2 mins.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
Now add the marinated Fish into the curry and allow the fish to cook well.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
Once the fish is cooked, Goan Fish curry is ready.
