Filipino Chicken Curry<\/h2>\n

1<\/span> <\/span> Potato,Diced<\/span><\/div>\n
½<\/span> <\/span> each, Red and Yellow Bell Pepper<\/span><\/div>\n
2<\/span> <\/span> Carrots, small and diced<\/span><\/div>\n
600<\/span> g<\/span> Chicken ,curry cut<\/span><\/div>\n
1<\/span> tbsp<\/span> Patis\/Fish sauce<\/span><\/div>\n
1<\/span> <\/span> Onion,chopped<\/span><\/div>\n
4<\/span> <\/span> Garlic, chopped<\/span><\/div>\n
½<\/span> <\/span> inch, Ginger<\/span><\/div>\n
½<\/span> tsp<\/span> Black pepper powder<\/span><\/div>\n
2<\/span> tbsp<\/span> Curry Powder<\/span><\/div>\n
1.50<\/span> cups<\/span> Coconut milk<\/span><\/div>\n
1<\/span> cup<\/span> Water<\/span><\/div>\n
Salt, as required<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

In a pan, add 1\/4 cup oil and shallow fry diced potato and Carrots till golden brown and set it aside.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Add chopped bell peppers and saute them for 20 secs and set them aside. Now retain 2 tbsp of Oil on the pan and add chopped garlic. Saute the garlic for a minute.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Now add chopped onions and saute till golden brown. Once it’s golden brown add chopped ginger a saute for a minute.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Now add the curry chicken pieces and cook it till turns golden brown. To this add Patis\/fish sauce and give it a mix.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

To the chicken add black pepper powder and curry powder. Cook this until the raw smell goes away. Add water and give it a mix. Cover and simmer this for 5 mins.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

To this add the shallow fried Potato and carrots and coconut milk. Mix them well. Cover and simmer the curry for 10 mins.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

After 10 mins, do a taste check and add salt as required. Add the shallow fried bell peppers and mix well.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Filipino Chicken Curry is now ready. Serve it with some hot steamed
