In a bowl, Add Dark soy sauce, Light soy sauce, Fish sauce, Water, and Corn Starch. Give them all a mix and set it aside. To make a Vegan\/Vegetarian version of this recipe, you can substitute fish sauce for Vegan fish sauce or Salt.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
In a pan, add the crumbled tofu and cook the tofu until it’s slightly dry.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
Add oil to the tofu and saute the tofu till golden brown.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
Push aside the tofu and make some space on the pan. Add some Oil and Shallots and saute it till it’s transparent.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
To this add chopped garlic and saute for 30 secs. After 30 secs, add chopped chillies and saute for another 30 secs.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
Combine sauteed shallots, garlic and chillies along with the tofu. Give them all a good mix.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
Now add the prepared sauce and sugar to the tofu. Give them all a mix and cook for 3 to 4 mins until the sauce becomes thick.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
Lastly, top it with Thai Basil Leaves and give them a good mix.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
