Crush Garlic, Ginger, and Chopped chilies to a fine paste.
In a mixing bowl, add in the Carom seeds powder, Chilli powder, Turmeric powder, salt, Lime juice.
Mix the spices along with the Garlic, Ginger, and chili paste.
Dip and gradually apply the marinate masala onto the cut Pomphret pieces.
Marinate the fish for at least 20 - 30mins
In a saute pan, add in the sliced onions and saute them for 2 - 3 mins.
Add on some curry leaves, and saute them all together till onions turn golden brown.
Now start placing the Marinated Fish on top of the sauteed onions and allow it to cook under sim for 10 mins on one side.
After 10 mins, flip the pieces and allow them9 to cook for another 20 mins under sim. Cook this on Medium flame.
