Taushe Hulel

The term 'Taushe' in Konkani language means Cucumber hence 'Taushe Hulel' originates from the Konkan coast of India. This is similar to a Cucumber Raita, but this recipe enhances the taste of Coconut, Chillies, and tartness of Tamarind. In this recipe, we are going to Blend in Cucumber, Ground Coconut Masala, Yoghurt and some Curry Leaves Tempering. It all comes together for about 20 mins with very few ingredients.  6 tbsp Grated Coconut
 1 Green Chilli
 3 Dried Red Chillies
 2 tbsp Tamarind Juice
 2 Cucumber,Chopped
 2 tbsp Yogurt (Optional)

Blend in Coconut, Tamarind Juice, Dried Red Chillies, and Green Chilli to a fine paste

In a mixing bowl, add the finely chopped Cucumber and mix the blended masala.

Add 2 tbsp of yogurt and mix well. Here yogurt is optional.

Add in the Curry leaves and Mustard Tempering. Taushe Hulel is now ready!
